Phone and Tablet Repairs

Parts and Spares
I will always do my best to source reputable parts for everything I fix. However, manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung and more, don't sell any spares outside their own repair facilities for their devices. For this reason, the parts I source are after market parts from third party companies. These parts are often a high quality and once I find a part I know works and lasts, I stick to it to ensure repairs last.

However number 2, some of the parts do not allow full funcionality of the phone as with the original parts. This is usually imposed by the manufacturer to discourage after market parts. This may include biometric features such as facial recognition and fingerprint readers, depending on the device.

I will openly talk to my customers about this and of any known or potential problems with after market parts.

iPhone and iPad Batteries
As stated above, after market batteries work absolutly fine in the device however the battery health feature may no longer work. This does not affect the use of the phone.

Suppliers

Delivery Times
The majority of the parts I order are from the UK where possible however there are some things that you just can't get from the UK. Where delivery is due to be longer than a few days, this will be communicated.

Delivery Fees
Some suppliers charge for deleivery, this will be included in any quotations.

Changes in Fees
Where possible, I will honour quoted prices regardless of price increases from suppliers. Provided the quote is accepted within 7 days.
